This pack of high quality, American made Silicon Carbide belts for 1"x30" belt sanders contains 5 each of the high grit belts in 600, 800, and 1000 grits. A 1"x30" Leather Strop Honing belt with buffing compound is included. These belts are all intended for finer shaping and polishing of knives and tools. If you have tools with very blunt edges, it would be best to start with a coarser grit. These belts are best for knife makers and sharpening professionals to put the final touches on knives and tools. This is a great knife sharpening belt kit that also includes a leather belt. After fresh metal is removed and exposed, these belts will help to refine your knife or tool edge so that it is sharp and honed to shaving sharp perfection. They are great for the Harbor Freight 1x30 belt sander or any other belt grinder that requires 1"x30" sharpening belts. The leather strop is manufactured to be slightly smaller than 30 inches to allow room for stretching. It will fit snugly at first and then will stretch over time.
