Costa Rica SHB EP La Rosa coffee is sourced from Cooperativa de Productores de Café y Servicios Mœltiples de Naranjo R.L. (Coopronaranjo) which was established in 1968 in the Canton of Naranjo within the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica. La Rosa comes from a select group of producers, each with farms that average 20 acres in size and today is 2500 members strong.
The "La Rosa" is part of the Federation of Coffee Cooperatives, uniting independent growers and are also involved in honoring and serving their community. They volunteer for the disabled and are involved in the development of education. So with each full cup of coffee you can be fulfilled knowing you are enjoying great coffee and making a difference in someone's life.
La Rosa SHB means Strictly Hard Bean which requires a slightly longer roasting time. Consider purchasing 2 lbs to start with and experiment with different roasting times to find that optimal taste.
