For sixteen years reclusive mystery writer Christopher (Kit) Holmes enjoyed a very successful career, thanks to the popularity of elderly spinster sleuth, Miss Butterwith, and her ingenious cat, Mr. Pinkerton. At the urging of his agent, Christopher reluctantly agrees to attend a mystery writers’ conference at a remote Northern California winery.
