"Half size" is a generic term and we cannot guarantee that our pans will fit into the tins of other manufacturers. These watercolor paint pans can be used to create your own custom paint palette. Made of white plastic, they measure approximately 18 mm x 15 mm x 8 mm. If you want to create a small traveling watercolor kit you can fit as many as 16 pans in a large Altoids tin and 5 pans in a small Altoids tin. Purchase does not include the Altoid tins. They are an example of how the pans can be used.
