The LyxPro CMG-50 is designed especially for use with video cameras, its professional-grade mic produces pristine audio for field, studio, or broadcast applications. It features a rugged all metal housing yet lightweight which makes it durable for lifetime use and road worthy.
The CMG-50 can be mounted directly on the Camera or any other standard microphone mounts or Boompole
Polar Pattern Super cardioid
The super cardioid polar pattern of the CMG-50 shotgun mic from LyxPro is designed to pick up sound directly from where the camera is pointing and effectively diminishes noise from the sides and rear.
Battery or Phantom Power
The CMG-50 uses a +48V phantom power supply (included with most professional video cameras or mixing consoles). In addition, this microphone can also be powered by an internal 1.5V AA battery.
Switchable High Pass Filter
The microphone features a switchable high pass filter which can be used to remove low frequency noise that is not part of your intended sound source.
Includes Foam Windscreen and Storage Pouch
The foam windscreen will help prevent sound interference caused by breezes or wind.
