The sun beats down on us, no trees to provide any shade from the intense heat.
It was after 1200 hours and we had just finished preparing for what was about to come.
There were three of us; friends, brothers, a team. You could call us, the Assault Team!
Through the shimmering heat rising from the sand we could see our enemy coming towards us, down the dune and far across the beach.
Even though they were still so far away we knew we had the ability to strike!
We set up our HydroSling, gathered together our “ammunition,†readied our launcher, and let loose a storm of water balloons raining down upon our targets!
Summer was well under way and the battle had just begun!
