The Decals and Stars can be applied directly to any flat surface.

IMPORTANT: Surface must be flat and clean with no residue. Some Low VOC paints can repel any type of decal material. Please test using a small piece of painters masking tape to see if it sticks if you are not sure.

THE ROOM MUST BE COMPLETELY DARK for best viewing of your star scene! Electronics with LED lights will need to be covered or turned off. If the ceiling in your room looks black when you turn off your lights at night, then it is dark enough and will work well with glow in the dark decals and stars. UV BLACKLIGHTS can be used to super charge your decals and stickers to show all of the color hues that I use to paint them. However, they are designed to be charged only with natural light - if you DO NOT use uv light to charge them, the glow effect is very realistic giving you a soft, gentle glow and they will appear whitish when glowing.
