After 12-24 hours, the pet will slowly break out of the egg. 3. After the pet completely breaks free of the shell, place the pet in a new container of water. 4. After 24-48 hours, the pet will grow to its full size. 5. Remove the pet from water and watch it slowly shrink. The pet can be put back in water to grow again.
