What is LoveBaby+ and what's with the "+"?

Designed for moms with babies, by moms with babies. We might not be the experts on babies, but we sure do know A LOT of parents with newborns. And we listened to them. As a result, everything about our product, from the fabric weave down to the packaging, was designed from the input of parents just like yourself. At LoveBaby+, our mission is to bring you the softest fabric you want, with the designs you love, before you can wonder why someone wouldn't make an organic muslin crib sheet with seafoam green elephants and hearts on it. That way, you can worry about the more important things... like the next diaper change. As for the domain name, LoveBaby was already taken, so we decided to add to it... pun intended. Why Organic Cotton?

You may choose to buy organic because you only want the safest and best fabric to come in contact with your baby's sensitive skin, and you're right for doing so. Laboratory tests on non-organic cotton fabrics today still reveal trace amounts of toxic dyes which could be absorbed through the skin. As an adult, these have little effect on us. However, certain babies have shown to be particularly vulnerable to even the smallest amounts of chemicals as they are still growing. This may manifest as symptoms in your baby such as allergies, rashes and respiratory problems. Sure, non-organic cotton probably shouldn't cause any problems, but in today's world where everything in our environment is synthesized and man-made, why risk it?

What is Muslin and Why Use it?

Somewhere down the road, this soft gauzy fabric became synonymous with anything baby. Its open weave design allows the fabric to be both lightweight and breathable, while giving both stretch and durability. Because of these qualities, it has arisen as the fabric of choice for babies.
