1/35 scale. U.S. Tank destroyer M10 mid production. Tamiya. During world war II Britain was supplied with a number of American M10 tank destroyers under the lend-lease program. The M10 was based upon the famed M4 Sherman tank, but with lighter and more highly sloped armor which allowed the M10 to reach higher speeds. Kit features detailed exterior with sloped armor plate, open top turret with (3-inch gun and breech, M62 APC rounds, 12.7mm M2 machine gun and interior), cast mantlet, sponson, periscope, optional hatch's, separate on-vehicle tools and equipment, (3) detailed figures (commander, loader, gunner), transparent parts (lights, vision ports and goggles), well rendered running gear (idler shafts and wheels, road wheels, vinyl track lengths and spare tracks). decals and markings for (2) us tank destroyer battalions: 601st, 3rd infantry division, Southern France, August 1944 and 643th, 1st infantry division, Aachen, Germany, October 1944
