Usage:
To use the scale, turn it over on the back and place 2 AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Then turn it back over and place it on a flat level surface. The scale will not read correctly if you have it on carpet or an unlevel surface. Step on the scale centering it the best you can and it will automatically come on. The blue backlit LCD screen will light up and start reading your weight. Once it has finished calculating your weight, it will blink and give you the final reading in larger easy to read numbers. When you step off, the scale will turn itself off.
Tips for new users:
1.To change the unit (pound, kilograms or stones), press the key located on the back of the scale.
2.Use it on hard surfaces as carpeted or soft surfaces affects the accuracy of the sensors.
3.To conserve battery, Do not keep objects on top of the scale when it is not in use as it auto detects weights on top of it and activates weighing.
4.The surface is very hard glass. So use a soft cloth for cleaning not to scratch it.
5. It should not be kept in a wet area.
