Do I need a shower valve to use this or just line up copper supply lines to connect to this outside the wall?
No need for a shower valve, just connect HOT & Cold lines to the shower facuet.
how far away from the wall is the rain shower head?
About 14 in to the center, then consider the diameter of the actual shower head which is about 8 in.
Do you know the distance from the wall mount to the bath faucet edge? Wanting it make sure it will clear our bathtub edge.
The bathtub downspout is about 5 1/2 inches from the wall.
