WHAT'S WRONG WITH NATURAL MAYONNAISE?

Oxidation is the problem. Conventional mayonnaises (like Hellmann's and Dukes) contain EDTA, a synthetic preservative that prevents oxidation. EDTA tastes terrible. It ruins the flavor of mayonnaise.

EDTA is banned by natural grocers like Whole Foods. Without EDTA, mayonnaise made with Poly-unsaturated oils (like avocado, soybean, canola, or grapeseed) oxidizes quickly. The oils are rancid.

Oxidized/rancid oil tastes bad. It has fishy, metallic and acrid flavors. Also, oxidized oil is bad for your health. It causes inflammation and is linked to serious diseases.

Coconaise is different. Coconaise is made with oils that are naturally resistant to oxidation, like coconut oil and MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil. Coconaise has fresh oils and fresh mayonnaise flavor without the EDTA.

Low oxidation = fresh taste!

Coconaise has TWO expiration dates for 2 storage temps (40F, 75F). Coconaise is refrigerated on day of manufacture and at our facility. Brief exposure to warm temps in shipping does not affect freshness.

Is Coconaise Vegan? NO. Coconaise is real mayonnaise made with eggs.

Does it taste like coconut? NO. There is no coconut smell or flavor.

Why the sugar? The amount (0.15 grams/tablespoon) is trivial. By comparison, one egg contains 0.6 grams sugar.

Ingredients: coconut oil, medium-chain triglyceride oil (MCT, from sustainable palm), organic eggs, organic egg yolks, organic high oleic sunflower oil, organic vinegar, organic mustard (vinegar, water, mustard seed, salt, turmeric, paprika), concentrated lemon juice, salt, cane sugar, non-GMO natural vitamin E (mixed tocopherols), non-GMO phytate (natural antioxidant from rice), natural lemon flavor (mostly lemon essential oil).
