A Northern Soul is the second studio album by The Verve which hit No. 13 on the UK album chart and has since received critical acclaim. A Northern Soul moved them from psychedelic rock to alternative rock, with the lyrics taking on a more prominent role. It features the singles 'This is Music,' 'On Your Own,' & 'History,' and will now be available on standard black vinyl.
