Using a unique self-folding stretch material as a sound absorber, a Cymbomute sits on the rim of a cymbal and is held in place by tension. Available in sizes 6-24 inch and for all types of cymbal: hi-hats, splashes, crashes, chinas and rides.

Acoustic practice is great, but sometimes volume is a problem. With Cymbomute you can use your real cymbals but cut the volume. Cymbomute outperforms a standard rubbery cymbal pad in playing feel & volume reduction.

Care:
Like sticks & drumheads, Cymbomute cymbal mutes are consumables. Intensity of use affects lifespan.
To avoid premature rim-rip or loss of stretch:
• No worn sticks or cracked cymbals - they'll chew through your mutes!
• Angle your crashes a little more - it's better for your mutes AND your rims!
• Don't overstretch mutes - use the correct size
• Store mutes off cymbals & out of direct sunlight
NB:Cymbomute mutes are designed for muted practice - overly aggressive playing will greatly shorten their life.

Fitting:
Unique to Cymbomute is our specialist self-folding stretch material. There is a skill to fitting them:
• PRE-FOLD mutes before fitting - either by hand or use an iron on very low heat
• HiHats only need a TOP Cymbomute
• The rim fold will develop over time
