Natural slate, unlike painted wood chalkboards, is easy to erase and works well with chalk markers and regular chalk. We use a naturally quarried slate board that isn't polished, milled or finished - so you can expect each board to have a unique texture and variation in thickness. Each chalkboard surface varies slightly though most are generally flat with minor ridges. Includes 7-piece mounting kit. Carefully packed in a cardboard box to ensure a safe arrival.
