The Hiker belt is designed for dogs on the move and is ideal for jogging, canicross, bikejoring, skijoring and trekking. The belt meets the requirements of the International Federation of Sled Dog Sports (IFSS) for pulling belts for competition use. The length of the belt can be adjusted between 70–120 cm. The belt features a pocket with a capacity of 0.75 dl (a diameter of 75 mm) for a water bottle, phone, treats and waste bags. The belt can be used together with any Hurtta leash. The wide padding on the back and the flexible section at the front reduce stress when the dog pulls at the leash. The interior mesh lining makes the belt comfortable to wear even in hot weather. Detachable foot loops keep the belt in place on the upper hips and the belt circumference can be adjusted for a firm fit. The panic lock enables the quick release of the dog in emergencies. The total weight of the belt is just 450 g. The flexi section and carabineers can be replaced if needed.
