The Jungle Explorer Deluxe XL is a rugged, larger hammock designed for anyone up to 7 ft and 300 lbs / 213 cm and 135 kg with durable bottom fabric, ropes and webbing straps. A larger rainfly to provide excellent coverage and protection. Because it's a "one size fits all" solution, this very versatile model is preferred by law enforcement, firefighters, smoke jumpers, soldiers and defense organizations. The Jungle Explorer Zip XL has a double layer bottom with 40 denier nylon for greater mosquito protection and to hold the Radiant Heat Reflecting Double Bubble Pad between the layers and on the correct diagonal. One of the nicest things about the Jungle models is to climb into your hammock with your sleeping bag and not have to think about keeping an insulation pad from moving around under you during the night. NOTE: The double bottom jungle models are designed for temperatures down to 40*F / 4*C. when used with the accessory Double Bubble Heat Reflecting Pad. If you are planning to use a hammock in colder temperatures, we recommend a single bottom hammock with the accessory SuperShelter 4 Season System or one of our 4 Season hammock models as a more flexible choice because additional insulating materials can be added as needed. The Explorer has an asymmetrical shape, which provides exceptional comfort when lying on the diagonal, and a structural ridgeline which ensures the exact same bed every night and a perfect setup every time.
