For the longest time we had ourselves a big, oily laugh at him and the thumbless imbeciles who followed him. We didn’t think it was serious. We didn't think they actually had a chance... or that there were so goddamn many of them.
But the joke's over now. No one knows what to say, and the place just got dark all of a sudden. You can hear glass breaking and maybe someone crying in the next room.
Yeah, the humor definitely went south.
