As ever, our musical tour of the US takes us to all parts of the country and features tracks that span the mid-60s to mid-70s - the golden era of this type of material. Our featured artists offer a balance of the familiar and the obscure, but all with recordings of the highest quality. There are a few R&B chart hits here but the focus is on quality rather than on rarity. 22 tracks are completely new to Ace or Kent CDs, while nine of those 22 - including rare Stax demos from the Del Rios and the Mad Lads - have never been issued before.
