LP (Propane) Air Mixer 1/2" (High Capacity 90k BTU);

Our solid brass ½" High-Capacity propane air-mixer increases the oxygen to LP fuel ratio dramatically improving burn efficiency which greatly reducing the potential for soot normally associated with propane. Question: Why is an air-mixer needed for use with propane? Answer: For every 1 cubic foot of Natural Gas, you only need 10 cubic feet of oxygen for combustion. However, for every 1 cubic foot of Propane Gas, you need 24 cubic feet of oxygen for combustion!  Since Propane gas requires more oxygen than natural gas, air mixers are essential to achieve proper propane combustion (Install the air mixer before the burner but after the valve)
