Square or rectangular fire pits:
Width X Length X Height, divided by 19 = pounds of fire glass needed
For example, a 20" X 25" fire pit at the recommended 2" of fire glass depth: 20 X 25 X 2, divided by 19 = 52
Circular fire pits:
Diameter X Diameter X Height, divided by 24 = pounds of fire glass needed
For example, a 25" diameter fire pit at the recommended 2" of fire glass depth: 25 X 25 X 2 divided by 24 = 52lb.
