Our Delimer & Descaler products offer the power of harsh mineral acids such as Hydrochloric, Sulfonic and Sulfuric without the dangers they pose to your personnel, equipment or the environment.

The patented technology dissolves 10% more scale than Muriatic/Hydrochloric acid. All of this power comes in a liquid concentrate that is non-regulated, non-toxic, requires no secondary containment and carries a triple-zero HMIS score. It's the hydrogen load that gives our Delimer & Descaler such power and the ability to have a pH of zero. What makes it unique is how that hydrogen behaves. Hydrogen in acids dissociate and trade places with the hydrogen in metal, seals and other materials. That exchange is what causes corrosion. Because the hydrogen has a stronger bond to the H+ ion than those in acids, you get a non-corrosive cleaner that does not fume, has no exothermic reaction, neutralizes with water, is safe on skin and biodegrades 100% in less than 10 days.

BOILERS:
Every boiler will have a varying degree of scale when it's time to clean it. Generally, adding 15 to 20% Delimer & Descaler to the water volume is where we recommend starting. So if the heating system holds 50 gallons of water, simply add 6 to 8 gallons of Delimer & Descaler then fill with water.
1. Close down boiler/components for closed-loop descaling in order to circulate cleaning solution then drain and flush the boiler.
2. Add Delimer & Descaler to the boiler then fill with water.
3. Circulate for 3 hrs or 6 hours for larger units.
4. Drain, flush, refill.
To use the soak method, fill the boiler with 1 part Delimer & Descaler and 1 part water. Allow to soak for 2-3 hours. For either cleaning method, Monitor the solution each half hour using pH test strips (if strips are red, product is active. Otherwise, add more product).
