The jar lid will stick to a magnetic surface. Of course it is not "magnetic". It would have to have a lead magnet to be magnetic, but some metal does not adhere to magnets. This does attract magnets.Again, it depends on the strength of your magnet & the weight of the contents whether it will stay.
