Born and raised in Northern California, Margaret Glaspy has brought her indescribable voice to the east coast and New York City couldn't be happier. She is a committed student to the music around her and has been writing some of the most innovative and heartfelt material of her generation. With a list of influences including Oumou Sangare, Feist, Jeff Buckley, and Nina Simone, she has created a sound and writing style that is undeniable, honest, and a tribute to the beautiful music that she has discovered throughout her 23 years.
