Any fan of jasmine tea should try this delicate treat. It has a very soft, airy mouthfeel. It gives a subtle sweet cup, with hints of brown sugar and the subtle fragrance and taste of jasmine. A great pick-me-up tea for everyday drinking. This tea is grown at Mount Taimu, Fujian. Hugely popular in China, Silver Jasmine Green tea is produced by adding jasmine flower petals to the tea buds during processing. After drying the flower petals are removed, leaving the tea with its unique taste and fragrance, a real treat! Harvested April 2014. We recommend using Chinese (porcelain) gaiwan teapots or a glass pot, although any other teapot will do fine as well. Use 2 grams of tea leaves for every 250 ml of water. Steep the tea in water with a temperature of 90-95 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes. You can let this tea brew 2 times, resulting in a distinctly different brew each time. Of course, as always you should adjust to your own preference.
