Designed for expert makers, entrepreneurs, and industrial IoT companies, the Intel® Edison module provides ease-of-development with a fully open source hardware and software development environment. It supports Wi-Fi and BLE 4.0 connectivity. Intel® Edison and Grove IoT Starter Kit Powered by AWS has included an Intel® Edison for Arduino along with 11 selective Grove sensors and actuators for you to detect the indoor environment as well as to create smart home applications. AWS IoT and Development boards that comes with the kit has lots of features. Choose one of the four kits based on the Development Platform of your choice, features required and familiarity. This kits require familiarity with any Open Source Hardware Platforms apart from know-how on configuring and using AWS services.
