David Baskeyfield - Grand Prize Canadian;

Originally from England, organist David Baskeyfield, 2014 Canadian Intl Organ Competition first-prize winner, is heard in a diverse program, including works by Saint-Saëns, Howells and Vierne, showcasing the organ of St Pauls Church in Torontoan ideal instrument to introduce the organist to a new generation of listeners. Though the St. Pauls organ has not been recorded in recent years, it is well known to organ historians. Mr. Baskeyfield is active as an accompanist, continuo player and occasional cocktail pianist, and has an occasion given theatre organ recitals.
