The recording features romantic arrangements of classical Advent and Christmas carols with prominent Romantic era composers Max Reger, Carl Loewe, Max Bruch and Johannes Brahms represented among others. One can say this release is also an invitation to let oneself be drawn into a meditative space whilst listening in which Advents pure meaning is recognized as the conjoining of both the past and the future.
