This Timing Chain, Cam Locking Tool Set is for use on M271 4-cylinder Mercedes engines in the 2003-2005 C230 kompressor.

For holding chain securely on sprocket while winding in a new chain therefore avoiding.
● Tool Number 2
For locking camshafts and setting camshafts in basic position also holds camshafts securely while loosening and tightening sprocket bolts.

For installing blanking plug back into crankcase cover after removing chain tensioner.

For release of oil filled chain tensioner releasing tension on timing chain.
