The Taylor Pro Programmable Thermometer with Probe and Timer is a sleek, compact unit that packs a big punch! The stainless steel probe is shaped to work on a variety of entrees - from prime rib to casseroles to turkey! There are 3 buttons for use: MEM / SS, HR and MIN. The back of the unit has a switch for F°/C° (Fahrenheit or Celsius) and another for thermometer or timer. The digital cooking thermometer is programmed with preset temperatures for various cooking levels provided by the USDA. There are 6 presets to be exact: Poultry, Beef Well, Veal / Pork, Beef Medium, Ham and Beef Rare/Fish. Want rare prime rib? No problem! Just select it on the display, insert the probe into the meat, shut the oven door and wait for the timer to sound the alarm when your meat has reached the proper temperature.
