- Dimension of the trailer light strip: The overall length is about 15.5 inches, wideth is about 1.25 inch, and the thickness is about 0.5 inch. There is a little knob where the wires all come out, so the overall depth is about 1 inch, and you may need to cut out a hole to allow that to go in. The spot knob is about 0.57 inch in diameter. Really a nice slim low profile unit;
