Included with the Techna Clip kit is a fully machined replacement slide cover plate that is drilled and tapped ready for attaching the Techna Clip to the S and W M and P Shield, 2 screws (1 extra), 2 locking washers (1 extra), 1 Allen wrench. The replacement slide cover plate can be left in place indefinitely, with or without the Techna clip attached. The high quality Teflon Stone Coat 5100 coating prevents abrasion to the sidearm by providing a thin but highly durable cushion between the Techna Clip and the slide. The Techna Clip comes in (black) and fits all S and W M and P Shield .9MM .40 models. This model will not fit other M and P models; please see our other listings. Instructions: To install, follow the instruction in your S and W Owners Manual; Remove the slide from the frame of the side, then separate the barrel and recoil spring assembly from the slide. Next, following the instructions provided with your Techna Clip; Remove the factory installed slide cover plate located on the rear of the slide and install the drilled and tapped slide cover plate that has been provided with your Techna Clip. Mount the Techna Clip on the right side of the slide with the screws and Allen wrench provided. Conceal and carry on the go with our easy Clip It and Go system.
