This mechanism is for a high profile horizontal blind. It is used to tilt slats back and forth (open and close.) However, this mechansim does not raise or lower blinds. This product can only fit into a 2.25" W x 2" H headrail. Can only fit a 1/4" square tilter rod (if you notice the pictures, there is a small square in the center of the mechanism. This is where you feed the metal rod through which is located inside your blinds' headrail.)
