Breathe Healthy Masks utilize the non-allergenic Aegis Microbe Shield treatment that lasts for the life of the mask. It helps prevent germ growth on the mask and still effective after washing 100 times. Breathe Healthy masks have a special inner liner, which is a fabric that was designed to be worn next to the skin. It wicks away moisture, which is the main reason that masks can feel hot. The liner employs a hydrophobic/hydrophilic ("moisture wick and repel") technology which allows the wearer to breathe more comfortably. They can be worn for longer periods without becoming unbearably hot. Our masks have been filtration tested by an independent lab and will help protect against common particulates like germs, pollen, dust, pet hair & dander, allergens, mold spores, many bacteria, and effluents from coughs and sneezes (containing flu viruses).
