We LOVE caring for cutting boards and we looked everywhere for a great applicator for CLARK'S wax and oil products. After scouring the internet for something we could recommend, all we could find was a cheap Chinese square shaped applicator (which is ironic considering all of the wax containers are round), so we decided we needed to make our own for people just like us that expect a quality product.

There are three really cool things you'll notice about this design:
SHAPE - The applicator is shaped to fit perfectly in your hand which makes it easier to apply your wax or oil.
SPONGE RECESSED -You'll notice that we recessed the applicator where the sponge is attached. This makes it so that you don't catch the sponge on the edge of a board or utensil and rip it off (the primary complaint of the other applicator we saw).
IT'S ROUND! - This means it will fit perfectly in your wax jar for easy application.

CONSTRUCTION - This applicator is made from solid maple right here in the USA. We love using American made products whenever we can.

LESS WASTE - This design helps eliminate messes and wasted product. Simply store the applicator in a plastic bag or Ziploc. Leftover wax and oil in the sponge can be used for the next application. See how clever we are?

APPLIES SMOOTH CONSISTENT FINISH - When you're putting quality wax or oil on a cutting board you need a stiffer sponge to get an even application. This makes the whole process easier and less time consuming.
