Henri Dutilleux celebrates his centenary on January 22, 2016. Though he was born just a few months before the premiere of one of Debussy's final compositions, the Cello Sonata, he followed in the tradition of his countryman. On this beautiful tribute to Dutilleux, Emmanuelle Bertrand, pianist Pascal Amoyel and the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester led by James Gaffigan team up for performances of cello works from both composers including Dutilleux's famous Strophes sur le nom de Sacher.
