Haldeman Mills African brown teff flour is freshly milled in Lancaster County, PA. Delightful with its deep brown color and mild, earthy flavor, brown teff flour makes delicious baked goods with a hearty wheat-like flavor.Teff flour is traditionally used for Injera, an Ethiopian flatbread served at every meal, but this 100% whole grain high protein flour is an easy substitute in almost any recipe. Is this teff flour organic? The manufacturer/miller says: "Teff is a grass and there is no pesticide or insecticide you can spray on it that wouldn't kill it. So the way that it is raised is organic but it is coming from other countries [outside the United States] so it is not certified."
