The XTAR VI01 USB Current/Voltage Detector works with all USB ports and devices to show both the voltage and current being provided by the USB port in realtime. To show current, the VI01 needs to be connected inline between the host port and the device; and shows actual current in use - not the theoretical "maximum current" that manufacturers often inaccurately rate products at.
The VI01 can be connected as an end-device to simply show the voltage on the USB port.
Connect the VI01 to one of XTAR's chargers with a USB output - like the VP2 or WP2H - to analyze the charge current and voltage.
