The NDS Catch Basin Filter fits the 9-inch Catch Basin. This removable, and easy-to-clean filter helps prevent dirt and debris from clogging the drainage system. The filter bag, made out of nonwoven, spun bonded, polypropylene geotextile fabric that provides superior filtration, inert to biological degradation, and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids, can hold up to 40 lbs. without tearing. Its bypass feature allows water to flow to the catch basin even if the filter is full and is particularly useful after a heavy storm water event. The filter comes pre-assembled, making it easy to install: unscrew the grate, drop the filter in and reinstall the grate.
