Ideal for the crafter or as a replacement motor for large dial clocks, this reliable quartz movement, assembled in the U.S., is simple to install. The threaded mounting shaft measures 7/16 inches long and, because of the addition of hardware when you mount it, will require that the thickness of your clock case be no more than 5/16 inches. The diameter of the shaft is 5/16 inches and will require a slightly larger hole in your clock case so the shaft will slide through. Everything is included in this package: the clock, a pair of hands (see image) mounting hardware and hanger. The movement takes an AA battery (not included) and will run for years without attention. There is a simple time- setting wheel on the back. The movement measures a compact 2-3/16 inches square and the sturdy plastic case, not including the shaft, is only 5/8 inches thick. The minute hand measures 7 inches long and the hour hand is 5-1/4 inches long. Together they will fit a clock dial up to 14 inches in diameter.
