It's polyester film/glass backing gives it excellent physical and electrical characteristics. The backside of the tape features a special coating that gives it an even, controlled unwind. This also gives permanent anchoring in the application process. The typical applications for 3M-1339 include: lead anchoring, banding of coils, lead tape anchoring, and other applications where tensile strength is needed. This product has excellent conformability, high tensile strength, a high dielectric strength and UL recognition. Easy to wall-mount kitchen or bathroom accessories, and pictures or decorations on clean, dry, smooth walls. Works on most surfaces that are clean, dry and smooth.
