Actually it could be opened by a small pliers by clockwise direction. Remember! The earrings should be inserted in when you twist it. No too much strength is advised, or the earrings could not be inserted any more. When it is opened, you will find two batteries and one insulating strip. For example, the red led earrings will stay red light and not blink.
