This is a Perfit PERFECT GLOW 12' LED IP68 Full Waterproof RV Awning light kit w/ PC Mounting Channel for Permanent Installation. Like all of the products we sell they are used by the OEM's and installed on brand new units everyday so they are tried and true... This kit is specifically designed for recreational vehicles, do not be fooled by the other sellers that sell the IP65 Crystal Resin "Waterproof" LED strip light with 3M. We have been down this path, it will not hold up to the elements. The OEM's are using this Full Waterproof IP68 w/ Mounting channel in production units. This strip is covered in Crystal Resin like the IP65 but it's also encased in another Silicone sleeve, this gives you double the protection from the elements. Then this LED strip is installed in the UV treated Polycarbonate mounting track/channel (The strip is held in place by it's adhesive backing and compression by the channel) which is made right here in Elkhart, IN. w/ real commercial grade 3M adhesive tape.
