One #6262 High Torque Quartz Clock Movement with a total shaft length of 3/4", and a threaded shaft of 1/2", therefore, we suggest that the thickness of your dial or clock's face cannot be more than 1 1/16" so there will be enough space to screw the nut unto the shaft to hold your dial/face in place.
