Fantasy watercolorist Amy Brown takes her viewers to an enchanted land filled with playful fairies, gothic beauties and whimsical dragons. Each wonderous painting has a mystical story to tell, and it is easy to get lost within the rich textures and vibrant details of her works. Born in 1972, Brown began drawing at a very young age. She is primarily a self-taught artist, and got her start painting fairies while working as a custom framer. Her work took off once her husband put her work up in a small web gallery which grew and became famous. Amy distributes her enchanting artwork in many forms, including: prints, originals, cards, stickers, calendars, books, figurines and more. When asked about the origins of her passion, she said, "I was never one of those children who daydreamed of growing up to become an artist. I just ASSUMED that was what I would be. It was never a question of 'do I want to be an artist?'. Often there are days when I really don't want to paint, I HAVE to paint. The urge to create is almost a wild, living entity trapped inside me, clawing to escape." Amy Brown
