Built in the late 19th century by Ludwig II of Bavaria, this iconic landmark is visited by millions of visitors from all over the world each year. It was the inspiration for Disney's sleeping beauty Castle and the name translates to swans tone Castle. Our artist has captured the essence of this beautiful Castle as part of our Alpine village series. With at least 8 towers and Turrets, Neuschwanstein Castle is perhaps the most majestic building in the history of the Alpine village series. It's quite a challenge to count the numerous windows represented, but with dozens cut Outs, a warm glow radiates from within.
