David Silvers can only watch as his life unravels in the midst of disaster. Florida’s west coast is devastated by a Category 5 hurricane - anarchy and economic collapse soon follow. Cut off from his home in Tampa and reeling from a devastating loss, David becomes obsessed with the need to retrieve something of his former life. His only hope is joining up with a band of ex-military and mercenaries that has made a business of transporting civilians into the hurricane zone. But before he realizes it, David is caught in the middle of a high-stakes battle between drug dealers, religious fanatics and government operatives. All he wants to do is get home, but now he’ll be lucky to simply survive.
