This product is high quality cord made for the window blind industry. Cord that is made for the arts and crafts are not the same. Standard Cord Replacement Kit Components: 1 tassel, 1 cord stop, 1 threading tool, 40 Inches 1.8mm pull cord and 70 feet Of 0.9mm shade cord. Please view picture of the compatible cord locks used with this cord. Locks not included. Basic Repair Instructions Examine how cords are threaded through the cord lock Remove lock and end caps from the top and bottom rail. Slide the rails out. If you have a plug in the bottom rail, you may need to push it out before you can slide the rail out. If the plug gets broken, use a plastic or metal washer to tie off the cord. Save the plugs to fill in the hole after recording the shade. Stack the shade up and remove all the pull cords. Save any plastic washers. Push threading tool through the hole in the shade. Slip the new cord into the tool and pull out. Tie cord to washer or use plug after sliding the rail back. Replace all cords on the shade. Slide top rail in, and feed the cords into the lock. Slide lock into rail. Stack the shade up. Place a tape measure at the lock end and extend the tape measure out. Push cord through the small hole in the cord stop. Tie knots at the correct measurement on the tape measure for the shade. Do not cut any cord until after the installation and testing of the shade. You may need to adjust the knot. Attach the pull cord to the cord stop. And attach tassel to the end of the cord. Comes with basic video instructions.
