Directions
Depending on Menstrual Flow, Empty your menstrual cup 2-5 times daily. Can be worn safely overnight. Upon emptying, just rinse your Dutchess Cup with water. Sterilization can be achieved simply by boiling the silicone cups for 5 minutes before every monthly period, or by using a quality sterilizing liquid.

- Insertion is easy! Just fold the cup in half, hold it to make a U, gently insert it into your body, then rotate it so it opens and creates a firm seal. For heavy flow days and when you're first learning how to place it, a pad or liner is recommended.
- Menstrual cups are just as comfortable to wear as tampons, and they don't absorb your natural moisture. Just like tampons, you can do all your usual activities, even swimming. The Dutchess cups are vaginal, so penetrative intercourse is not advised.

- Easy to clean! Just rinse with plain clean water after removing. Wash with a mild fragrance free cleanser specifically designed for your body and wipe dry prior to inserting. After your period ends, boil 3 - 5 minutes, allow to air dry, then put away
- To maintain your cup, use a bristle free brush to remove any buildup in the holes. To remove stains, wash with baking soda with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide added to it. Soak in hydrogen peroxide no more than twice a year and rinse thoroughly
- With proper care, your Dutchess cup will last indefinitely. Replace it if it shows signs of wear and tear: torn or frayed holes or edges, discoloration or stains that won't wash away, an odor or film, or anything else not "normal".
